Waypoint Property Inspection, LLC, is a Riverview based family-owned home inspection company serving West Central Florida. Our 'sister company,' Waypoint Property Inspection East, LLC, is based in Boynton beach and serves East to Southeast Florida. We are fully certified to perform numerous types of home and commercial inspections including: new and resale home inspections, new construction home inspections (including draw inspections), FHA certification inspections, four point insurance inspections and windstorm mitigation inspections. Our clients include home buyers, home sellers, current home owners, investors, banks, insurance companies and mortgage lenders.

We service the entire Tampa area, including Ruskin, Riverview, Brandon, Tampa, Wesley Chapel and Surrounding areas.

Prior to opening Waypoint Property Inspection in 2004, Bob Hintze spent over 20 years in the financial services and retail industries as an executive leader. At times he had over 400 associates directly reporting to him, while he simultaneously directed several large departments. In addition to his bachelor's degree in Business Management from Virginia Tech, Bob earned a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the George Washington University.

Bob completed extensive home inspection training at Kaplan Professional Schools/Inspection Training Associates in Tampa, FL. He has over 275 hours of inspection training and regularly completes continuing education classes to ensure he stays current with the home inspection industry expectations. He has passed the National Home Inspector Examination (currently not required of Florida home inspectors,) and he is an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, ASHI, and the InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI.)  Additionally, Bob is certified through the Partnership for Response and Recovery (PaRR) as a Senior Inspector to assist FEMA with damaged home assessments that have been affected by national disasters. And he is certified by the state of Forida to conduct Windstorm Mitigation Inspections to assist home owners in fortifying their homes against high wind events such as hurricanes.

Throughout his business career and as the owner of Waypoint, Bob has focused on providing excellent service while educating his clients. This commitment to the client has always been a part of his guilding principles; it is also the foundation of Waypoint Property Inspection, Tampa's premier home inspection company. 

Mark Wahl opened Waypoint Property Inspection East in 2006 after spending over 20 years in the insurance industry specializing in Claims and Loss Control Services. He studied Business Management while attending the University of South Florida and Raritan Valley College. Mark completed his home inspection training at Kaplan Schools/Inspection Training Associates as well. He has over 150 hours of inspection training and regularly completes continuing education classes to ensure he stays current with industry expectations.   Mark has passed the National Home Inspector Examination (currently not required in the State of Florida for home inspectors.)  He is an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors. Additionally, Mark is certified through the  Partnership for Response and Recovery (PaRR) as an inspector to assist FEMA with building assessments that have been affected by national disasters. His experience in the insurance industry has given Mark the knowledge and skills to provide excellent customer service for all of his Waypoint clients.
